Aaron Maniam

Aaron Maniam is Director of the Institute of Policy Development at the Singapore Civil Service College. He has served in Singapore's Foreign Service, the Prime Minister's Office Centre for Strategic Futures and Institute for Public Sector Leadership at the Civil Service College. From September 2013-14, he will be one of 60 Master of Public Policy students at Oxford University's Blavatnik School of Government. Maniam is active in leadership development for young people. He was the founding Chairman of the National Youth Council Academy's Advisory Panel, served as President of Mendaki Club, a group of young Muslim professionals, and was Chairman of the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) Youth Club. Maniam is an Adjunct Faculty Member of the National University of Singapore's Scholars' Programme and the Singapore Management University School of Social Sciences. He is an award-winning poet, trained facilitator of inter-faith dialogue and a board member of various social enterprises in Singapore.
