Adam Werbach is known as one of the foremost authorities on business strategy for sustainability. At age 23, he was elected as President of the Sierra Club, the oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization in the US. His company, Act Now, was acquired by Saatchi & Saatchi and the Publicis Groupe, where he serves as Chief Sustainability Officer. In this role, he guides sustainability work from India to South Africa to Brazil. His book, Strategy for Sustainability, published by Harvard Business Press, was named one of the Best Business Books of the Year by Fast Company Magazine. Inspired by a YGL visit to the slums of Dharavi in India, Werbach recently created ?yerdle?, a new platform that makes it easy to share goods with friends.
