Akudo Anyanwu Ikemba is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Friends Africa, a pan-African organization that fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria using the capacity of African governments, African businesses and African community-based organizations. Anyanwu Ikemba serves on the Board of Roll Back Malaria and the Nigerian arm of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). She is also a Member of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative and the Vice-President of her alumni class at the Harvard School of Public Health. Anyanwu Ikemba holds a PhD in Medicine from Tufts University, an MA in International Public Health from Harvard University and a BSc in Molecular Biology from Lehigh University. She has diplomas in non-profit management and leadership from Duke University and has done post-graduate studies at the University of London and the London Hospital for Tropical Diseases. She has received multiple awards in leadership and academia.
