Arthur M. Okun Professor of Economics
Aleh Tsyvinski is a Professor of Economics at Yale University. He is also a Co-Director of the Macroeconomic research programme at the Cowles Foundation for Research in Economics at Yale University. Tsyvinski's research spans macroeconomics, finance, public economics and political economics. He is a Professor by courtesy at the New Economic School (Russia) and a Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (USA). His research was recognized by numerous awards including a five-year CAREER award from the National Science Foundation (USA), Guggenheim Fellowship, and an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship. Tsyvinski writes ?Ratio Economica?, a bi-weekly column for the editorial page of Vedomosti, a leading Russian business and political daily newspaper. He also serves on the board of directors of one of the largest Russian real estate developers and on the International Advisory Board of the New Economic School.
