Almira Zejnilagic Cemmell is a Director at the FTI Consulting. In addition to years of industry experience, she previously headed up the Natural Resources Department at Global Witness, an international NGO which investigates corruption in the extractive industries. Zejnilagic Cemmell started her career in the Serbian Parliament for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and worked in the Serbian Ministry of Finance. She was one of the early Members of the Serbian Student Union, which she was elected to represent in the early 2000s. For the last seven years, Zejnilagic Cemmell has chaired an advisory board at the Open Society Institute. She is a Trustee of Future Brilliance, a charity that provides vocational education in India and Afghanistan. She also does pro bono work for a number of charitable organizations in Eastern Europe and was selected as a British Young Leader 2011 by Wilton Park, an executive agency of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
