Amadou Hott has 14 years of investment banking experience at Société Genérale, BNP Paribas, ABN AMRO and Millennium Finance in New York, London, Dubai and Lagos, with the last eight years focused on African transactions. For two years, he was Chief Executive Officer of UBA Capital, the investment banking arm of UBA. Hott is past CEO of Dangote Capital and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Afribridge Capital, an Africa-focused investment and advisory company. As a volunteer, Hott serves as Special Adviser for Investment and Financing to Macky Sall, President of Senegal. Hott holds undergraduate degrees in applied mathematics and economy, a Master's degree in Finance from Sorbonne University in Paris, and was an exchange student in the Master's programme in Financial Mathematics at New York University (NYU) after winning the Sorbonne/NYU Scholarship.
