Amish Mehta is a Partner at Vector Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, and Chairman of Corel Corporation. He led the successful take-private and turnaround of Corel as its CEO, re-establishing the company as a leading global provider of packaged software. Prior to joining Vector, he was the CEO of CommercialWare, where he orchestrated its successful spinout from its public parent and built it into one of the leading providers of multi-channel order processing and fulfilment software for retailers. The World Economic Forum named him a Technology Pioneer for his vision and leadership of CommercialWare. Before CommercialWare, Mehta worked at General Atlantic Partners where he focused on identifying and building enterprise software and IT infrastructure companies, including Manugistics, EXE and Scopus (which was sold to Siebel). Prior to that, Mehta worked at McKinsey & Co. Mehta has an MBA (with distinction) from Harvard Business School and graduated (summa cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania with a BSc in Chemical Engineering and a BSc in Economics from the Wharton School.
