Prof. Arthur G. O. Mutambara is the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe, where his key functions include assisting the Prime Minister in policy formulation by the Cabinet of Zimbabwe and supervision of policy implementation by the Council of Ministers. He also supervises the Ministries which fall under the Infrastructure Cluster; (1) Energy and Power Development; (2) Information Communication Technologies; (3) Water Resources and Development; (4)Transport and Infrastructure; (5) Public Works; Mining and Mineral Development; (7) Public Service; (8) Higher and Tertiary Education. Furthermore, DPM Mutambara is in charge of three key efforts of the Inclusive Government; Development a Shared National Vision; Crafting a New Brand Zimbabwe; and Development of a National Infrastructure Master Plan. Dr. Mutambara is a Fellow of the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers, Zimbabwe Academy of Sciences and the UK based, Institute of Engineering and Technology. He is also a Senior Member of the US based Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is registered Chartered Engineer in the UK and Professional Engineer PrEng in Zimbabwe.
