Arzuhan Dogan Yalçindag

Arzuhan Yalçindag is Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Dogan TV, which owns numerous channels including Kanal D, Turkey's most popular TV channel, CNN Türk, in partnership with Turner International, and the satellite platform DSmart. She is also on the board of the Dogan Group, one of the largest conglomerates in Turkey. Since 1996, Yalçindag has been in the broadcast media business and was the architect of CNN Türk. Prior to that, she served in the Milliyet Group where she was responsible for finance and helped found Alternatif Bank, where she later became a Board Member. She also established and managed the mail order company Milpa, a joint venture with German Quelle. Yalçindag served as the first female Chairperson of the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association, one of the most influential NGOs in the country, and as a Board Member of the Education Volunteers Foundation. She is also the Founding Director of the Women's Initiative for Turkey in the EU and Founding Board Member of the Aydin Dogan Trust Foundation.
