Ashok Vemuri is a Member of the Board of Infosys Limited and Global Head of Manufacturing and Engineering Services at Infosys. In this role, he is responsible for setting strategic direction and overall P&L leadership of these segments globally. Vemuri is also responsible for Infosys' operations in Americas, the company's largest region in terms of clients and revenue. He is the Chairman of Infosys China and serves on the Board of Infosys Public Services. Earlier, Vemuri established and led the financial services business at Infosys, the company's largest business segment. He also directs the work of the Infosys Foundation in the US, which supports education of underprivileged students in New York and New Jersey, re-skilling former auto sector employees in Detroit and other activities to drive STEM education in America. Vemuri is on the Board of Visitors of the Fuqua School of Management, Duke University. Business Today, a leading Indian magazine, has selected him as one of the Top 25 hottest young talents in India.
