Basetsana Kumalo, Exec Chairman & CEO of Basetsana Woman Investment Holdings Pty Ltd. Chairman & Director of Uzalile Investments: a woman owned and listed Coal Mining Company. She holds a position as Non-Executive Director at Tawana Resources, a diamond Mining Company. She is the Executive Chairperson of Tswelopele Productions & Tswelopele Publishing, a television production & magazine publishing company. She is the Chairperson of PHAB Property Holdings and a Director of Leungo Investment Holdings. A philanthropist at heart she sits on various boards: Lovelife, SA's largest national HIV prevention organization for youngsters; Director and Vice-Chairman, The Nelson Mandela Institute for Education and Rural Development; she is Directorof Life Champion - Life College. A former Miss South Africa and first runner-up in the Miss World Pageant, Basetsana is a former President of the Business Women's Association of South Africa. She is the Spokesperson for the Pampers UNICEF Tetanus campaign and Brand Ambassador for some of South Africa's blue chip Companies. Honoured as an YGL in 2011, Basetsana is completing a degree in International Relations, Political Science and Diplomacy.
