Benjamin Gray is a Managing Partner of TPG Capital and Group Head of Australia, Japan, South Korea and South-East Asia for the firm. Gray jointly led TPG's investments in Asciano, Alinta Energy, Healthscope, Myer Department Stores and Petbarn. Gray recently relocated from Melbourne, Australia, to Singapore to take up his expanded role. Prior to joining TPG Capital in 2004, Gray was a Director of Credit Suisse, where he worked from 1994 advising on M&A and arranging financing for leveraged buyouts in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Gray was born in Australia and received a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne and an MBA with High Distinction (Baker Scholar) from Harvard Business School.
