Celine Herweijer is a Partner in the S&CC team and co-leads PwC's Climate Change and International Development business, and its work on climate resilience. She has expertise of climate finance, climate policy, climate risk assessment, resilience and disaster risk reduction, private sector development, insurance and sustainable land use. She advises clients across Europe, North America and emerging and developing economies on strategy, financing, policies and implementation related to climate change. She has acted as a key adviser to the G20 and World Economic Forum on adaptation, a private sector representative to the US$ 6 billion Climate Investment Funds, and as Chief Strategy Adviser to the US$ 100 million Climate and Development Knowledge Network funded by the UK and Netherlands. Herweijer is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics, and has a PhD in Climate Modelling and Policy from the Earth Institute at Columbia University, New York.
