With over 20 years of experience in developing electric vehicles, Chetan Maini is Founder and Chief of Technology and Strategy of the Reva Electric Car Company in India. The Economist conferred Chetan the 2011 Energy and Environment Innovation Award for his work in affordable electric vehicles. He was also the recipient of the India Business Icon Award for path-breaking work by Entrepreneur CNBC TV18 (2011), Entrepreneur of the Year by AIMA Managing India Awards (2010), and named by Business Week as one of the top 50 most powerful people in India to influence change (2009). Maini has a Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree from Stanford University.
