Christopher Logan is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Silk Road Mining and Development, a new junior mining company that explores and develops mineral resources in Afghanistan; allocating substantial equity towards social development programmes and social enterprises. Formerly, Logan was Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer at Agility, a leading global logistics provider; and Principal (partner) at Mercer Management Consulting, now Oliver Wyman. He has built out multi-billion dollar global logistics networks; re-oriented them towards emerging markets; created new brands for 40+ company roll-ups; led acquisitions/integration in Asia/Europe; and led global CSR. Logan has a degree in Business Administration, Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Canada. He lives in Vancouver and Hong Kong; and lived and worked in China, South Africa, USA and Canada. Logan is a Member of the Global Agenda Council on Logistics and Supply Chain and serves on the steering board of the Supply Chain and Transport Risk Initiative.
