Claire Boonstra is Co-Founder of Layar, a self-service web application company that lets publishers infuse static pages with interactive experiences by adding digital content such as videos, weblinks or social media to magazines, books, newspapers and brochures. Prior to Layar, Boonstra worked with KPN, Unilever and Talpa Digital. She was also Managing Director of SPRXmobile, Co-Organizer at Mobile Monday Amsterdam and was Editor-in-Chief of a wintersportsblog. Boonstra is the recipient of a number of awards, including Online Media Woman of the Year. She is often listed as one of the most influential women in technology and mobile. Boonstra has an MSc in Civil Engineering.
