Corinna E. Lathan

Corinna Lathan is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AnthroTronix, an engineering research and development company. She is the reciepient of numerous awards for her working, including Maryland's Top Innovator of the Year, MIT Technology Review magazine's Top 100 World Innovators and the Women in Technology Leadership Award for Entrepreneurship. She is actively involved in educational outreach programmes promoting STEM education, including the FIRST and VEX robotics programmes. Latham currently serves on the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council for Robotics and Smart Devices and was named a Technology Pioneer in 2004. She is also on the Board of Engineering World Health, which supports the emergence of healthcare technology in the developing world. She received a PhD in Neuroscience and an MSc in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, and a BA in Biopsychology and Mathematics from Swarthmore College.
