Vice-President and Managing Editor, Asia-Pacific
Ellana Lee is Vice-President and Managing Editor for CNN International Asia Pacific, based at the network's regional headquarters in Hong Kong. As head of editorial output, she manages CNN's award-winning on-air and online news and feature programming produced throughout the region, including the correspondents and newsgathering teams across 12 operations from Kabul to Seoul. Her role encompasses managerial responsibility for a wide range of news stories from across the Asia-Pacific region, reaching hundreds of millions of viewers around the world. Lee has a BA in History and International Relations from Georgetown University and an MA in Broadcast Journalism from New York University, and did an Executive Program at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is an Asia 21 Fellow and a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
