Ellen Gonda, a communications executive, was most recently Senior Vice-President of Global Corporate Communications at Hilton Worldwide. She joined the company in 2008 and was responsible for its corporate communications and corporate responsibility initiatives. Previously, she was Director of Communications for the Americas for the global private equity firm, The Carlyle Group. At Carlyle, she was responsible for firm-wide communications initiatives in North and South America. Prior to joining The Carlyle Group, Gonda was Director at Brunswick Group, where she provided counsel to international companies in crisis situations, particularly transactions and restructurings across a variety of sectors. She has also held positions at Gavin Anderson & Company and Abernathy McGregor Frank. Gonda graduated with high honours from the University of California, Berkeley.
