Federico Sturzenegger is President of Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Previously, he was Visiting Professor of Public Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Dean of the Business School of Universidad Torcuato di Tella, Secretary of Economic Policy of the Republic of Argentina and Chief Economist of YPF. He is the author of numerous research articles and books, including La Economia de los Argentinos, which summarizes his thinking on the challenges faced by the Argentine economy. He has served as a consultant to corporations and international organizations. He holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata and a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
