Cho Hyun-Sang is the Executive Vice-President of Hyosung Group, and is in charge of the Corporate Strategy Center. Hyosung Group is a global enterprise with over 13,000 employees and has over 60 networks worldwide covering every continent. The Group's business areas are chemical fibre, industrial materials, chemicals, heavy industrial system, IT, trading, retailing, finance, construction and environment, with an annual turnover over US$ 8 billion. Previously, he worked at Bain in Tokyo and Seoul; NTT Communications in Tokyo; and Marubeni in Tokyo. Cho was selected as an “Asia 21 Global Young Leader” by Asia Society of USA in 2006, as well as a Member of the Asian Young Global Leaders' Forum by Korea/Japan/China Foundation in 2005. In 2007, he was selected as a Board Member of Young Friends of the Museum, which is a junior advisory board for the National Museum of Korea, and has been a Member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) since 2005. Cho holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brown University and Yonsei University.
