Hideyuki Inoue founded the Social Venture Center and started the annual “Style” prize in 2004, Japan's first social venture business plan competition for the young generation. He also established a fund called the “Tokyo Social Ventures,” where individual partners contribute their time, knowledge and funding in order to nurture social entrepreneurship. He is a graduate of Keio University and received his Master's degree in International Affairs from George Washington University. He was an NPO fellow (2004-2005) of the Center for Global Partnership and worked at Social Venture Partners International in Seattle as part of his fellowship. He is also an Assistant Professor at Keio University, teaching classes about social entrepreneurship, social enterprise and investment, and public management.
