Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir is a Director, Writer and Filmmaker, currently writing and directing a documentary film about intuition. In 2011, she published a three dimensional book of poetry, and her first play was premiered at the Reykjavik Arts Festival in 2009. Gunnsteinsdóttir founded Krád Consulting in 2008 to focus on various projects in such areas as education and the arts. She set up an innovative, cross-disciplinary university programme called Prisma, in collaboration with the Academy of the Arts, University of Bifröst and the ReykjavikAcademia, which was nominated by the Nordic Council as an exemplary education that best responds to a changing situation in the labour market. Prior to starting her own consultancy, Gunnsteinsdóttir worked as a Programme Manager for UNIFEM in Kosovo. She was one of the main creators of and spokesperson for the UNIFEM/UN Women Butterfly campaign in 2008. Gunnsteinsdóttir has served on various boards related to arts and culture, entrepreneurship and humanitarian work in Iceland. She holds a BSc from the University of Iceland and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
