Director, Writer and Filmmaker
Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir is a Consultant, Filmmaker, Entrepreneur and a Writer. She is the Chair of the Board of the Technology Development Fund in Iceland, which supports Innovation. She is the Director and Writer of Feature Documentary InnSæi, which explores the art of flourishing, leading and innovating in an age of distraction and transformation. As a consultant, Gunnsteinsdottir has worked for UN Women, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, public and private organizations, specifically on gender and post-conflict reconstruction. Following the bank collapse in Iceland, she designed and directed an innovative, cross-disciplinary university programme, recognized by the Nordic Council for responding efficiently to the needs of today’s work market. Prior to founding Krád consulting, Gunnsteinsdóttir worked as Programme Manager for UNIFEM in Kosovo and a Statistician at the UNECE. She is also a poet, playwright and writer, a public speaker, and has served on various boards related to arts and culture, education and human rights. In her work, Gunnsteinsdottir brings together people, ideas and methods from different sectors and disciplines to facilitate creative, holistic and innovative outcomes. Gunnsteinsdóttir holds a BSc from the University of Iceland and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
