Senior Vice-President, Europe, Russia-CIS, Turkey
Jacques Beltran is Senior Vice-President in charge of Europe, Russia-CIS and Turkey at Alstrom International, a world leading company in the rail transportation, power generation and electricity transmission sectors. Beltran started his career as a research fellow at the French Institute of International Relations (IFRI) and at the international department of EADS. From 2005 to 2007, he worked as diplomatic adviser to the French Minister of Transport. He joined Alstrom in 2007 and held various positions in corporate strategy, public affairs and as head of the Asian region. Beltran is the Founder of ProEuropa, an NGO that highlights the importance of the European Parliament and encourages French political parties to designate candidates who are both competent and interested in European affairs. Beltran graduated from Sciences Po Paris and holds a post-graduate degree in International Relations. In 2011, he graduated from the Alstom Advanced Management Program at the INSEAD business school.
