Skibsted Ideation
Jens Martin Skibsted is a designer and design thinker whose work has been collected by SFMoMA, MoMA, Le CNAP and more. Skibsted is a Founding Partner of KiBiSi, Skibsted Ideation and Biomega. He introduced a new path to urban sustainability by making bicycles that compete with combustion cars. Skibsted is Vice-Chair of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Design & Innovation, a Board Member of the Danish Design Council and Senior Adviser to the INDEX: Award. He is also a Board Member of the BMC (Danfoss) foundation. Skibsted has co-authored design strategy books and writes a regular column on design strategy in Fast Company. He graduated from the film school ESEC in Paris in 1994, from Copenhagen University in 1998 where he studied Philosophy, from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000 where he studied Project Management, and from Copenhagen University in 2011 where he studied Cross Media Communication.
