Jesmane Boggenpoel is Founder and Director of Harvest Advisory and Investments and Co-Founder of AFRIT, an initiative for a new entrepreneurial-driven African university. She is an inaugural director and shareholder of African Women Chartered Accountants Investment Holdings, comprising 60 black South African women shareholders, and is a non-executive director of Intersite, a South African government entity that develops property of the national railway. Boggenpoel has over 13 years of work experience, mainly in investments and private equity having worked for Brait Private Equity and in the corporate finance departments of Anglo American and KPMG. She co-founded an investment holding company and was an executive director and shareholder from 2005 to 2007, during which time she executed two investment transactions in the financial services and information technology sectors. Boggenpoel has served on several boards and committees in South Africa, including Land Bank and Senwes. She is a Chartered Accountant in South Africa. Boggenpoel completed the Mid-Career Masters in Public Administration at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government in 2012.
