John B Echauz designs and assembles companies. His current roles include: (1) Executive Vice President and board member of Standard Insurance, the Philippines' largest motorcar insurer, (2) Founder and CEO of Insurance Support Services International (ISSI), a business processing company that serves global insurers, (3) Chairman of Allied Metals, the Philippines' leading industrial kitchen contractor, (4) Principal at Mabuhay Capital, a Philippine financial advisory firm and (5) Business Development Consultant for Metro Pacific Investments Corp., the Philippines' largest infrastructure company, where he works on waste-to-energy and agriculture projects. His recent designs and projects include (1) Cliq12, the strong-tie social network, (2) the Floody Carbag, (3) the Argo biomass electricity generator and (4) the low-cost Samara Heart Center. His other companies are in the field of sustainable forestry, dairy, minerals/natural resources, solar/wind energy equipment, aircraft leasing and automotive spare parts e-commerce. He has also spent the past five years working on experimental carbon dioxide dissociation, with promising results. He has an MBA from Columbia University (Bega Gamma Sigma) and a BS in Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University (Manila).
