Katherine Richard is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Warwick Energy Group. She founded the company in 2010 and it has since grown to over US$ 250 million of committed capital focused on producing natural gas assets. Since 2010, Richard has been an adviser to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's Ministry of Mines on oil and gas development and transparency, working in concert with the Aspen Institute's Market Building Initiative and the Institute for State Effectiveness. She is an Advisory Council Board Member of MicroVest Capital Management, the first private US microfinance investment firm with over US$ 40 million in assets under management. Richard has guest lectured at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania on commodity forecasting and valuation.
