Keiichiro Asao

Keiichiro Asao was elected to the House of Councillors from Kanagawa Prefecture in 1998, representing the Democratic Party of Japan. Currently, he is Director of the Youth Division of the Organization Committee, Chairman of the Committee on Financial Affairs, a Member of the Special Committee on Humanitarian Reconstruction Support for Iraq and Responses to Armed Attacks and a Chartered Member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan. He is also the author of several publications. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Business and holds an MBA from Stanford University.
