Keisuke Tsumura is a Member of the House of Representatives of Japan as a Member of the Democratic Party of Japan. He was elected to the House of Representative for a third term in the 2009 general election. Since then, Tsumura has held a number of positions, including Cabinet Office Parliamentary Secretary for National Policy, Economic and Fiscal Policy, Science and Technology Policy, and Local Sovereignty. He is currently Senior Director in the Committee on Cabinet and Head of the Democratic Party of Japan's Youth Division. In 2011, Tsumura published ?Politics as Vocation?, co-written with Yoshimasa Hayashi, a Member of the House of Councillors of Japan. Before entering politics, he worked at the Bank of Japan. He earned his MBA from the University of Oxford and was a Chevening Scholar.
