Kevin Lu is Regional Director for Asia-Pacific of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the private-sector investment guarantee arm of the World Bank. As MIGA's senior representative in the region, Lu manages key government and investor relationships in Asia, and oversees MIGA's offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo and Seoul. Lu is also an adviser to the Bank's SWF clients. In his tenure at the World Bank Group, he has been responsible for investment portfolios totalling US$ 16 billion and participated in multilateral funding packages in excess of US$ 25 billion. Lu was previously associated with CSFB and Global Risk Advisors in New York. He sits on the MBA Advisory Council of Nanyan Technology University, the Emerging Markets Advisory Council of the Institute of International Finance (IIF) and the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on China. He also served on the adjunct faculty at American University. Lu is the author of ?Investing with Confidence: Understanding Political Risk Management in the 21st Century?. He holds a PhD in International Finance and Public Policy.
