Senior Executive Vice-President, General Counsel
Kim Mi-Hyung is the Executive Vice-President and General Counsel of Kumho Asiana Business Group, one of the Republic of Korea's leading conglomerates engaged in airline and land transportation, tire and petrochemical manufacturing, and construction. She is a US-trained and licensed lawyer specializing in banking and finance law and a Member of the State Bar of California. Kim is an active Board Member of the Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation, which aims to identify and promote promising young Korean musicians and helped arrange the historic 2008 performance of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra in Pyongyang. She is also involved in providing aid to contain tuberculosis in North Korea and to finding peaceful solutions to the nuclear challenges on the Korean peninsula. Kim was a 2005 Yale World Fellow and holds a BA in Economics from Wellesley College and a JD from Stanford Law School.
