Klaus Schweinsberg is founder and head of the Centre for Strategy and Higher Leadership, as well as Chairman of the INTES Foundation for Family Business in Germany. He is a personal adviser to various high-ranking CEOs and board members and is himself a non-executive member of several boards (such as HSBC Trinkaus, Roland Insurance, Verlag f?r die Deutsche Wirtschaft AG). He is a professor at the University of Applied Sciences Rhineland (RFH) and teaches at the German Armed Forces Command and General Staff College Hamburg. He also worked for 10 years in various managerial positions within Bertelsmann AG, such as the Business Editor of Financial Times Deutschland, Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of IMPULSE, as well his last position as Editor-in-Chief of Germany's largest business magazine, CAPITAL. Klaus studied political economics and communication sciences at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), the University of Siena (Italy) and the University of St Andrews (Scotland). He obtained his PhD at the chair for economic policy at the University of Fribourg. Schweinsberg is an active reserve officer of the German armed forces. He is a member of the papal foundation "Centesimus Annus" and the Sovereign Order of Malta. Schweinsberg is married and has four children.
