Klaus Schweinsberg is Founder and Head of the Center for Strategy and Higher Leadership. He is also an adviser to various chief executive officers and board members, and serves as a Non-Executive Member of several boards, including HSBC Trinkaus, Roland Insurance and Verlag für die Deutsche Wirtschaft. Schweinsberg is a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Rhineland (RFH) and teaches at the German Armed Forces Command and General Staff College Hamburg. Prior, he worked for 10 years in various managerial positions within Bertelsmann, including Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of IMPULSE. His last position with Bertelsmann was Editor-in-Chief of Germany's largest business magazine, CAPITAL. Schweinsberg studied political economics and communication sciences at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland, the University of Siena in Italy and the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He obtained his PhD at the Chair for Economic Policy at the University of Fribourg. Schweinsberg is a Member of the papal foundation Centesimus Annus and the Sovereign Order of Malta.
