2001, BA in International Relations, Tsukuba University, Ibaragi, Japan. 1990-96, joined New Corporation Division, Sanwa Bank (current Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ). 1997, opened first Tully's Coffee in Japan under license from Tully's Coffee US. 1998-2007 Founder, President and CEO, Tully's Coffee Japan. 2008, established AFCM (Asia Food Culture Management) Fund, Singapore and established Tully's Coffee International as a joint venture company of AFCM and Tully's Coffee US to expand Tully's Coffee in the Asia-Pacific region; President, Asia-Pacific region for US-based Quiznos. 2009, Co-Chairman, Face+ by Yamano Asia Pacific, a joint venture to expand Yamano brand in Asia-Pacific, and Founder and CEO, Eggs'n Things International Holdings. 2010, elected Member of the House of Councillors of Japan, Tokyo District. 2007, Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum.
