Lutfey Siddiqi is an Adjunct Professor who has taught post-graduate finance at the Risk Management Institute of the National University of Singapore since 2006. He is a Member of the Board of CFA Singapore. Siddiqi is also Managing Director and Member of the Asia-Pacific Executive Committee of the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Division of UBS. Previously, he worked as Managing Director, Head of Foreign Exchange Sales and Founding Head of Corporate Risk Advisory with Barclays Capital for Asia-Pacific, and was a Member of the Global Foreign Exchange Executive Committee. Prior to that, he served in London as Global Head of Foreign Exchange Structuring at Barclays Capital, as well as Head of Foreign Exchange Structuring in Deutsche Bank. Siddiqi has been recognized by the Government of Bangladesh every year since 2009 as a Commercially Important Person. He has an active interest in the ill-understood role of global traded markets, financial market regulation and consequences, comparative perspectives on attracting FDI to Bangladesh and fundraising for educational non-profits in Bangladesh.
