Lydia Polgreen is a Journalist for The New York Times as well as its New Delhi Bureau Chief. She is a recipient of several awards, including George Polk Award for Foreign Reporting for coverage of Darfur and the Overseas Press Club Award for coverage of Africa. Polgreen is a graduate of St John's College and Columbia University.
