Marco Magnani is a Senior Fellow at Harvard University where he conducts research in political economy at the Centre for Business and Government, and organizes a seminar on the challenge of implementing economic reforms. Magnani has nearly 20 years of professional experience in investment banking, a decade in M&A at JP Morgan on Wall Street and as Managing Director of Mediobanca. Magnani is the elected Chairman of the Board of AFS-Italy. He is also President of the Cavalieri del Lavoro Alumni Association, serves on the Executive Board and Educational Activities Committee of the Cavalieri del Lavoro Federation and is President of the Columbia Alumni Association in Italy. Magnani is a Member of the Aspen Institute, Chatham House, Council for the US and Italy, International Affairs Institute and World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Banking and Capital Markets. He graduated from the University of Rome, earned an MBA from Columbia University, and completed the Global Leadership and Public Policy programmes at the Harvard Kennedy School and Yale University.
