Mark Turrell is the Founder of Orcasci, a strategy and marketing agency focused on ?the science of spread?, helping companies and NGOs design programmes to scale and spread products, ideas, and behavioural change. He is working on a special initiative to support regime change and building in autocracies and dictatorships, combined with an investment company in ?economies in transition?. Previously, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Imaginatik plc, a software and consulting firm that pioneered crowdsourcing and collective intelligence for corporations. In 2008, he was nominated a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. He is also an Associate Professor at Hult International Business School, and supports several non-profits including LooktotheStars.org and Global Relief Libya. He holds a BSc from Cass Business School London, undertook postgraduate studies at the ESCP Paris and TU-Berlin, and worked on his (unfinished) PhD in Information Management at Cass.
