Senior Fellow; Adjunct Professor of Law
Mark Vlasic is an Adjunct Professor of Law and a Senior Fellow at Georgetown University, and heads the international practice at the Madison Law & Strategy Group. He also serves on the US Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Services and Finance, and the boards of the White House Fellow Foundation, Ladies International Foundation, Humanity in Action and Atlas Service Corps. Prior, Vlasic was Head of Operations of the World Bank's StAR Secretariat, a White House Fellow, special assistant to the Secretary of Defense and adviser to the President's Special Envoy to Sudan. He has served on the Milosevic/Srebrenica genocide prosecution trial teams at the UN War Crimes Tribunal and on the US delegation to the Pan-Am/Lockerbie trial. A US Army officer, he has been attached to Capitol Hill and the Defense Attach? Office in The Hague. Vlasic was awarded the SECDEF Medal for Exceptional Public Service by Secretary Gates. He received a BSBA and JD (cum laude) from Georgetown, a certificate in International Law from The Hague Academy and was a NAF-Fulbright Scholar at Universiteit Leiden.
