Anglican Church of Southern Africa
Natalie Simons is an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of Southern Africa which is spread over six Southern African countries. At age 32 she is one of the two youngest female priests in the Province of Southern Africa, and serves as the chaplain to the Anglican School for Girls, called St Cyprians. Her dedication to inter-faith dialogue has encouraged her participation in an inter-faith group with Jews and Muslims and coordinates a programme that sends 12 young South Africans to a two-week inter-faith camp in New York once a year. Simons specialized in Pastoral Care and Counselling and holds an MTh (Theology) from the University of Stellenbosch. Theological Education and development for women is one of her main priorities and she serves on the World Wide Anglican Communion Committee for Theological Education.
