Nimah Ismail Nawwab is a youth and women's empowerment activist, internationally recognized English poet, writer, editor, lecturer, keynote speaker and photographer. Her work, including her best-selling book, The Unfurling, have been featured in Newsweek International and BBC World News among others. Dubbed a “voice for Arab women and youth”, she engages with critical and emerging issues involving women and youth empowerment - as a strong advocate, speaker, workshop leader, director of youth-led relief, volunteer campaigns and intercultural projects. A firm believer in the need to prepare the future workforce for the labour market, she engages in building skills and career choices. As a pioneering supporter of giving youth their voice, enhancing creative and leadership skills, she also mentors many emerging artists across various artistic fields. Nimah works and collaborates on projects with a special emphasis on matters pertaining to culture, the arts, building bridges, diversity, empowerment, leadership and humanitarian issues.
