Fashion designer Ozwald Boateng is Founder of Bespoke Couture. Previously, he held the position of Creative Director of Givenchy Homme. He is widely credited with introducing Savile Row tailoring to a new generation. In 1994, he was the first tailor to stage a catwalk show in Paris during Paris Fashion week. Boateng's clients include Laurence Fishburne, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Rio Ferdinand and Mick Jagger and Lex Fenwick. He was named one of the Most Influential Londoners by the Evening Standard and awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) at the 2006 Queen's New Year's Honours. Boateng also founded Made in Africa in 2007, an organization that exposes African business opportunities to international investment and capital markets and develops profitable commercial businesses, facilitating the entry of major public and private companies to Africa.
