Paolo Benigno Aguirre Aquino IV was appointed Chairman and CEO of the National Youth Commission, the sole youth-focused policy-making body of the Philippine government in February 2003. Previously, he served as Commissioner-at-Large. He holds the distinction of being the youngest head of a national government agency in Philippine history. In addition, since 2002 he has hosted a youth-oriented morning talk show called "Breakfast." Spokesman for Children's Hour (a fundraising campaign for less fortunate children), Read to Lead (a reading advocacy campaign), and the Haribon Foundation (the first environmental NGO in the Philippines), he is also on the Board of Advisers for Habitat for Humanity and is a part of the Board of Trustees for Venture for Fundraising, an NGO that helps other NGOs raise resources. Aquino holds a BS in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University.
