Raghda El Ebrashi
Alashanek ya Balady Association for Sustainable Development (AYB-SD)
Raghda El Ebrashi currently lectures on Strategic Management at the German University in Cairo (GUC). El Ebrashi is the Founder and Chairperson of Alashanek ya Balady Association for Sustainable Development (AYB-SD) and is a Board Member of the International Youth Foundation (IYF) based in the United States. She is one of 24 on the Board of Advisers for the Egyptian Cabinet for a special project, The Social Contract Center. She has received numerous awards, including a local award for being one of “65 Influential Egyptian Social Entrepreneurs”; “35 under 35” from the United Kingdom; “100 Global Young Social Entrepreneurs” from UNDP and Microsoft in Malaysia; YouthActionNet Fellowship from the US; Synergos Arab World Social Innovator Fellowship from the United States; and she recently won the King Abdullah Award for Youth Innovation and Achievement. She earned her Bachelor's in Business Administration and Master's in Professional Development from the American University in Cairo (AUC). She wrote her PhD thesis on Social Entrepreneurship at the GUC.
