Richard M. Powell is Founder and Chairman of The RMP Group family office, and Co-Founder of APC Holdings, an innovative private equity firm. Prior to forming APC in 2003, he worked at Bear Stearns (Emerging Markets Group) and at UBS. He has consulted to leading conglomerates, governments and NGOs in Latin America and the Caribbean, and serves on the Boards of New Futuro, VMBS (Jamaica), the ACG Orlando chapter and the Powell-Bull Scholarship Fund. Powell is involved with the Harvard Alumni Association and Andover Alumni Council. He is a member of YPO, and has been recognized as a rising star of global finance. He has spoken at Harvard, MIT and other venues. Powell was named one of the Orlando Business Journal's “40 under 40” leaders to watch and is an M&A Advisor “40 under 40” award recipient. He is a graduate of Harvard University and has completed coursework at MIT and Harvard Business School.
