Rodrigo Hübner Mendes is Chief Executive Officer of the Instituto Rodrigo Mendes, a non-profit organization he founded in 1994, four years after an accident that made him a quadriplegic. The institute develops programmes in several regions of Brazil, aiming to help transform the public education system into an inclusive model that focuses on human diversity. Hübner Mendes began his career in 1998 as a business consultant at Accenture. In 2004, he decided to dedicate his efforts in the social sector, assuming management of the Rodrigo Mendes Institute. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Human Diversity Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation. Hübner Mendes is an Ashoka Fellow. He has received numerous awards, including prizes for innovative fundraising practices, and serves on the board of several Brazilian organizations.
