Sangita Singh is the Senior Vice-President and Head of Healthcare, Life Sciences and Services at Wipro Technologies and is among the senior-most Indian women executives from the ?Big 3? IT services companies in the country. Previously, Sangita headed the Enterprise Application Services (EAS) business unit of Wipro during which she scaled the business from US$ 150 million to over US$ 500 million and 8,500 consultants. Sangita was the Chief Marketing Officer at Wipro, prior to her role in EAS. Sangita is focused on people engagement issues and champions the gender diversity cause in different industry forums such as FICCI. Sangita's awards and recognitions include winner of the Stevie Award for ?Best Asian Woman Executive?, winner of ?Excellence in Information Technology? award by FLO, the women's wing of FICCI, being featured in TIME magazine's article's- People to Watch in International Business, as the ?outsourcing wunderkind?, listed as a top 50 youth icons in a review conducted by a leading Indian national magazine, India Today; and featuring in Business Today's list top 25 hottest young managers.
