Serpil Timuray has been the Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Turkey since 2009 and a Member of the Vodafone Europe Leadership Team. Formerly, she was the Chief Executive of Danone Turkey (2002-2008). Timuary began her career in 1991 at Procter & Gamble and was later appointed to the Executive Committee of P&G Turkey. Timuray is also the Vice-Chair of the International Investors Association of Turkey (YASED), Vice-Chair of the Turkish-British Business Council, Board Member of the Young Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity of Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and Member of the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD). She is also on the Advisory Councils of Endeavor Turkey, the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGIDER), Forum Istanbul, Contemporary Istanbul, and the Bosphorus University Business & Economy Club. Timuray was names Professional of the Year in 2010 and 2011 by the Turkish Ekonomist Magazine. She is a graduate of Bogazici University in Business Administration.
