Shamina Singh is a Senior Adviser to the MSL global public affairs group based in New York City. Previously, she was Vice-President of Government and Public Affairs for Nike, and the Chief Operating Officer of Global Community Development for Citigroup. For both companies, she led initiatives that leveraged their global depth and breadth to positively impact countries and communities around the world. Singh joined the private sector in 2004 after spending 15 years in public service. Among her previous positions, she served in the Executive and Legislative branches of the US government in senior policy positions. She is a Member of the Forum's Global Agenda Councils on the United States 2011 and a Henry Crown Fellow with the Aspen Institute. In 2011, she fulfilled an appointment to President Barack Obama's Military Leadership Diversity Commission. She completed her graduate degree at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, Austin, and her undergraduate degree at Old Dominion University, where she received the College of Arts and Letters Alumna of Distinction Award in 2008.
