Began career in management consulting in Eastern Europe during the transition; mid-.1990s, joined United Nations; later with Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Oxfam GB, EU Monitoring Mission, and European Defence Agency (EDA); worked on assignments in Balkans, Central Asia, Middle East and South America. Concurrently, Lecturer in Microeconomics of Competitiveness.
